MAMASE MAMASA MAMAKOUSA Tom Staar & Kryder - Big Momma’s House

Yeah ok…if there was anybody on the face of the earth that could bring a new dynamic to the classic overly remixed sample of Michael Jackson’s Mama Say Mamakossa, Kryder and Tom Staar take the cake. Their upcoming release Big Momma’s House features Big drums, shakers for swing, and a carnival-esque lead that moves the blood through the veins. The record is big in a way that is constant and driving, then finished by layering the classic Mama Say Mamakossa sample to make the whole experience enjoyable for the old school and new school. Listen Up…this is how you do house!

Tangible Media

MIT’s Tangible Media is coming along nicely,

"Almost like a table of living clay, the inFORM is a surface that three-dimensionally changes shape, allowing users to not only interact with digital content in meatspace, but even hold hands with a person hundreds of miles away. And that’s only the beginning."

In a world where musical genres have seemingly disappeared behind EDM’s obvious rise to prominence, we bring you the second installation of Yellow Claw’s Amsterdam Trap Music series. Amsterdam Trap Music Vol. 2, Yellow Claw’s new EP out on Mad Decent July 22nd, allows the Dutch trio to explore fresh audio terrain as they combine their monstrous trap bangers with influences from all around the music scene. From jammin’ with Jamaican reggae king Beenie Man in “Dancehall Solider,” to soothing our ear drums with sultry R&B/Soul singer Lil’ Eddie in “Never Dies”, to even turning up with the Brick Squad master himself Waka Flocka in “Techno,” Yellow Claw have managed to convert any non-believer into a certified trap lord.

1. Yellow Claw, Diplo & LNY TNZ - Techno (feat. Waka Flocka Flame)
2. Yellow Claw - Dancehall Soldier (feat. Beenie Man)
3. Yellow Claw - Kaolo Pt. 2
4. Yellow Claw - Never Dies (feat. Lil Eddie)
